Who’s the ‘Itrah’ to whom the Zaydiyyah belong

“As for the ‘Itrah’ (the progeny) to whom the Zaydiyyah belong, they
are the People of the Cloak and their descendants until the Day of
Resurrection. Among them are Zayn al-ʿAbidīn, Zayd ibn ʿAlī, al-Baqir,
al-Sadiq, al-Qasim ibn Ibrahīm, al-Hadī ila al-Haqq Yahya ibn al-
Husayn, and al-Mansur bi-Allah ʿAbdullah ibn Hamzah. This continues
to Imam Mujaddid (Renewer) of the Religion in the 14th century, Majd
al-Dīn ibn Muhammad ibn Mansur al-Muʾayyadī, and his student, the
Eminent Scholar and Hujjah, al-Sayyid al-Husayn ibn Yahya al-Huthī
(peace be upon them all). They are represented in our time by our
Master, the Eminent Scholar and Hujjah, al-Sayyid Muhammad ibn
Abdullah Awad al-Muʾayyadī may Allah preserve him.
