W—His Children (Peace be Upon Him)

Al-Sayyid Abu T a lib (Peace be Upon Him) mentioned Yah ya ibn
Zayd—his mother was Ra ʾit ah; it is also said: Rayt ah, daughter of
Abu Ha shim ʿAbdulla h ibn Muh ammad ibn al-H anafiyyah. He left no
offspring. And ʿI sa , Muh ammad, and al-H usayn—their mother was
one and the same, a bondwoman; and from her he had these three
sons among his children (Peace be Upon Him).
