Yes, this is a selection of the chains to Imam al-Mansur bi-Allah al-
Qasim ibn Muhammad, and they are the relied-upon ones.
There are other chains to the Imam and to other notables of his era,
which will be referred to if needed in detail—Allah willing. What we
have mentioned is sufficient and comprehensive, and it is the primary
basis for transmission and reporting. Other chains branch from it and
rely upon it, as those with knowledge and experience know.
This, and in what we have compiled here, there is a great benefit and a
major important point: That everyone connected to this blessed chain
of transmission is a path for us to him, for all that he has of narration,
understanding, and authored works, from us to Imam al-Qasim ibn
Muhammad (peace be upon him). This is known. This greatest
objective was facilitated for us only by the grace and favor of Allah the
Almighty, due to immense care and comprehensive research in
selecting the narrators who transmitted from those they were
connected to for all that they possessed, until the chain became
connected—and praise be to Allah the Almighty. We will strive to the
utmost to complete this with the help and guidance of Allah the
Almighty, and we will clarify what is attained from that. Whatever
pertains to a specific narration or a particular book will become clear
from the context, and Allah is the Guardian of Success.
Let us return to the intended purpose, with the help of the Sovereign
Worshipped. We say: **And the Supreme Imam, the Reviver of the
Religion, the Commander of the Faithful, al-Mansur bi-Allah, Lord of
the Worlds, al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, transmits that and more, via his
