What is the solution to the problem of a man who, when he thinks about the creature, immediately thinks about the Creator, and he cannot dismiss this satanic thought, etc.?
The answer: God Almighty has commanded us to reflect upon His creation and has revealed verses in this regard. It is incumbent upon the one who reflects upon creation to strive against the whispers of Satan to the best of his ability, for God does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.
Some of the Companions complained of something similar to what you have complained of, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: “Whoever experiences such thoughts should say: ‘I believe in God,’” or words to that effect. One should not abandon reflection upon what God Almighty has created because of what you have mentioned. Rather, the obligation is to repel the whispers of Satan, and there is no blame upon him after that. Indeed, this is pure faith, as narrated in the hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) when a man complained to him of something similar to what you have complained of, saying, “O Messenger of God, I would rather have my head cut off than mention such thoughts,” or words to that effect.
