Question: A man works in the shop of one of the al-Makārimah, and the shop owner insists on hanging a picture of the master of the Makārimah in the shop. Is it permissible for that worker to remain in the shop while the aforementioned picture is displayed?

Answer—and Allah is the One who grants success: There is no objection to working under the stated circumstances. However, if the worker fears suspicion, he should ward it off—for example, by praising al-Hādī (Peace be Upon Him) or al-Manṣūr (Peace be Upon Him), or the Zaydīs in general.
