The proof for what we have stated, and the invalidation of other views, is His saying Exalted is He concerning the generality of the disobedient: \u201cAnd whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His limits He will admit him into a Fire, abiding therein\u2026\u201d [al Nis\u0101\u02be: 14]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This verse came after the mention of inheritance in Su rat al Nisa \u02be, and the discourse is directed to the believers. He Exalted is He said at the beginning of the verses: \u201cAllah instructs you concerning your children\u2026\u201d Then He said at the end of that: \u201cThese are the limits of Allah. And whoever obeys Allah\u2026\u201d until His saying: \u201cAnd whoever disobeys Allah\u2026\u201d [al<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And He Exalted is He said in Su rat al Nisa \u02be which is Medinan and whose addresses are to the Muslims: \u201cAnd it is not for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake\u2026\u201d until His saying Exalted is He: \u201cAnd whoever kills a believer intentionally his recompense is Hell, abiding therein; and Allah has become angry with him and cursed him and prepared for him a tremendous punishment.\u201d [al Nis\u0101\u02be]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And He Exalted is He said in refutation of the wishes of those who wished among the Jews and others: \u201cAnd they say, \u2018The Fire will not touch us except for a few days.\u2019 Say, \u2018Have you taken a covenant with Allah for Allah will never break His covenant or do you say about Allah what you do not know?\u2019 Rather, whoever earns an evil deed and his sin encompasses him those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.\u201d [al Baqarah]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And He Exalted is He said to the believers: \u201cO you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains of usury, if you are [truly] believers \u2026\u201d until His saying Exalted is He: \u201c\u2026 and whoever returns then those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.\u201d [al Baqarah]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allah Exalted is He addressed the Companions of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace) when they disputed with the Jews regarding coming out of the Fire: \u201cIt will not be according to your wishes nor the wishes of the People of the Book. Whoever does evil will be recompensed for it, and he will not find for himself besides Allah any protector or helper.\u201d [al Nis\u0101\u02be]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And there are other verses in which Allah decisively cut off the hopes of those who entertain vain wishes. There are many proofs for what we have stated. Among them is what has been reported in the authentic collections: \u201cWhoever drinks poison will continue drinking it in the Fire of Hell, abiding therein eternally; whoever throws himself down from a mountain will continue falling in the Fire, abiding therein eternally; and whoever stabs himself with an iron blade, his blade will be in his hand, stabbing his abdomen in the Fire, abiding therein eternally.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al Bukha r\u012b also narrated: \u201cWhoever kills a person under covenant will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is perceived from a distance of forty years.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
