Such as interpreting \u201cface\u201d in His saying, exalted is He, &#8220;and there will remain the Face of your Lord&#8221; [al-Rahman:27] as meaning the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them); and interpreting &#8220;In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful&#8221; as \u201c\u02bfAli ibn Abi Talib\u201d; and interpreting the pronoun in His saying, exalted is He, &#8220;Indeed Allah does not forgive that a partner be associated with Him&#8221; [al-Nisa\u2019:48] as referring to \u02bfAli ibn Abi Talib, and many similar things.<br \/>\nThis is while they ascribe themselves to the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them). Then they claim and say that they interpret the Qur\u2019an with \u201cladunni knowledge\u201d, and they describe whoever is like that as a \u201crabbani scholar\u201d, then they describe all other scholars as \u201cbook scholars\u201d.
